[Sora's either taken a bit to click that he has a new ability. Or he just hadn't said anything about it yet exactly. Which is why he speaks up now. After a longer than usual absence on his end at least, from the network with the bracelets in him piping up to say something.]

Hey guys! Ah, I think I figured a new power again? That's kinda cool? It's...um. I need to bleed to do it though. I think it sort of gives the other person like a boost to get stronger? Or something like that? I bet that'll definitely come in handy!

[He probably discovered this while training in sparring with one of his friends accidentally or something. And yes he did say that was kinda cool. At the cost of weakening himself to aid his friends, of course.....because that is just how Sora rolls. For all that his friends worry about how reckless he can be and how sacrificing he can be if he sees someone else in trouble.]

Oh! Also! I know we've been here a while so most of us have probably had a birthday or have one coming up, right? So everybody knows they gotta have a party with cake and presents and all? I guess I kinda got distracted the other month from having mine...but I'm sixteen now!

[And....totally ignoring that chances are he is not gonna be celebrating that with his friends back home. Actually. Yes. Yes he is. Which is probably at least in part why he never said anything in March, but still. Clearly that he is sixteen now is the important news, guys! Belatedly. Sora just doing his part to cheer everyone up and terrify and worry them all at once of course.]

( For those with whom he has already spoken in his previous stay he looks exactly the same, except for a faint blackish color under his eyes, and a somewhat tired expression. No one would say he is a year older, considering that he's only been gone a few days. A pinkish ball with green ears is resting on his head; his komory bat napping, embracing itself with its wings. )

This is the first time that I do one of these for everyone and, to be honest, I'm unsure of what to say.

( There are a few seconds of silence, only broken by his sigh as he brushes his bangs backwards. Not that it does much, since soon his forehead is covered once again. )

I'm not quite sure how much time has passed here since the last time I was around, but it has been... quite a bit for me. I have missed the few people I talked with the last time. I tried to find you all but seems something happened while I was away? Is everyone okay?

[Sora's been missing for a bit by now. So of course when he comes back he wants to try reassure everyone. So he shifts in operating his bracelet, looking almost sheepish, in his nerves even as he wants to reassure them. Was it.....really going to be reassuring if he goes into things that happened back home? Perhaps he should just talk to Riku, to Namine about it. That seems best. So he tries for a smile and wave, still looking a bit sheepish in feeling bad on possibly worrying them all.]

Hey. I uh. Went home for a bit. So...sorry if I worried everyone. I'm back now! I just figured I should let everyone know. It....a lot happened? But things worked out. [Mostly. That is.] What'd I miss, anyway? I don't think anything major happened since I was back home but. Can't hurt to check? Oh, right! And I'm gonna be helping out with Heimdall! I mean, you know, like a guard. Sentry. Whatever you call it!

[Yup. He sure is just.....gonna try just gloss over Exactly What Happened back home. Unless someone specifically asks. He's mostly figuring talking about it with Riku and Kairi. And trying not to think on the irony of what happened to him in regards to a recent conversation with Turgon.]

So I'll be seeing some of you others helping out with that too! And I'm definitely gonna keep training! So if anyone wants to spar, let me know!

Hey guys! So, if I'm still figuring the timing about right, Valentines is coming up! I'm gonna make chocolates!

[No. Not just for his friends from home, either. Knowing Sora he probably faces that same thing with Christmas with wanting to do this for Everyone.......

Someone should really tell him to learn to calm it down. If that's even possible for him.]

Oh, right. Not everyone might get it. But, uh, Valentines is like a celebration of friends! Or more. If you have someone special! You get them flowers or chocolate and show you appreciate them! It's not as huge a thing as Christmas or anything, but. I still like it! And if I make too much chocolate, just means I can save some for later!

[So this is clearly just a win all around, right? Obviously.]

On the other hand, with my training lately, I figured I can do something else too! I don't think Riku was too thrilled though.... but I can help in fights by taking hits for others!

[......this is decidedly probably not something he should seem as thrilled about? But he is anyway. Because of course he is if it means he can help keep his friends safe.]

[It's late morning when Alice comes on, rubbing her eyes and yawning softly. All three of her kittens are purring and cuddling her, quite happy to see that she's, well, awake.

However, Alice has no idea she's been in a month-long coma. All she knows is that when she looked out the window...]

I beg your pardon, but where has all the snow gone? [A small little yawn.] There was so much of it just yesterday! It was several meters and now it seems to be much less! Which wouldn't be so terribly strange but I've never seen snow melt so quickly! Or do you suppose that that's quite common for Asgardian snow?

[Someone... might need to tell her she's been out of it for a month.]

[ When the video feed clicks on, Odin appears unenthused, which is saying quite a lot when he typically doesn't look like anything at all. The message is sent to all bracelets after the storm hits, which means the message comes loud and clear to any inside the castle and hazy or disjointed to anyone outside of it. ]

[Looks like someone is, again, all exuberance and energy today. Probably more like when isn't Sora, but still. He's beaming, already all dressed up in an outfit that might be somewhat familiar to some, that know of Santa at least. Only Sora's is a little more personalized and black instead of red with the white.]

Okay, so yeah like Alice said, it's....well I think around the right time of year. It's easier for me to lose track back home with all the travel I do but. I think it's about right. Anyway, Christmas! Santa! Presents! Decorations! We're totally gonna have it all here too, right? Everyone knows about Christmas in some form, right?

At least, the version I know is Santa, big guy, red and white suit, big long beard, gives out presents to everyone under their Christmas tree. Has elves help him make the presents and rides a sleigh with reindeer to go from house to house through the chimneys to deliver them on Christmas Eve? Right?

I've even met him! Christmas Town was amazing! (Yes, Riku, he is real!) [Cue pointed annoyed pout. He will never forget that, Riku, making him end up on the naughty list for saying Santa wasn't real!]

So I was thinking we could figure presents for each other? Either we can make or buy something, or I guess we could ask the gods for help too if they want to join in? And I can decorate!

[....by making more work in asking the gods for decorations....at least a tree would be simple enough for him to figure? Probably?]

I beg your pardon, but I have a very important question to ask. [A most serious and absolutely tremendously important question! In her lap are three cats, for those observant. One is all black, another is a ragdoll, and the third is a ginger, all three are quite fluffy little things. ]

But, I do believe it's getting to be winter, or at least, I think it's wintertime, it's certainly getting to be as cold as winter and I think it may even start snowing... but time is so funny here. So... if it's winter time, does that mean Father Christmas will be coming soon? Does... does a place like Asgard even celebrate it? Santa... he can find his way here, can't he?

[The video starts off in Odin's library. Ivar is there and looking a little tired like he's stayed up all night to finish a task. Without any preamble, he holds up a book of a good size that has been bound in leather. This one is new to the growing collection. Opening it, the first page has been done in a rather ornate script. Ivar reads it aloud.] "The Saga of Ragnar Lothbrok." He was the most famous Viking that ever lived, a mortal son of Odin. [There's a small pause and his voice seems to be carefully stripped of any emotion on the next words.] He was also my father. [This is probably the first time Ivar's spoken about his father or anyone in his family for that matter for any great length of time.]

I have compiled his life's story so that you all might be entertained and educated, starting from his humble origins as a farmer to when he became Earl and then King, and all his exploits in-between, such as leading the first Viking raids on England and Frankia.

[He flexes the fingers of his right hand a few times and his voice turns a little more gruff.] My hand hurts after so much writing, so I expect a measure of gratitude for such an act.

It's come to my attention that a number of you have yet to experiment with the powers we've bestowed upon you. Whatever the reason may be, it would be to the benefit of us all if you were better equipped to handle these new magics.

[ You know, in case you need them. For this next part, Odin's typical deadpan somehow manages to flatten even further into something between resignation and begrudging endearment. ]

Tyr took it upon himself to create new facilities for this purpose, but in typical fashion, what is asked for is never enough.

[ The God of Extra. Odin despairs of his younger brother. ]

With his blessings, the Áræði Coliseum is now available for various types of… "training," I suppose we'll call it - foremost among them being Leikrúnhöll, where you can safely practice your magic without risking harm to one another. Please use this space wisely.

[ As in: please use them, and please don't kill each other. It's the literal least he could ask for. ]

Hey! Hey guys! I know a lot has been going on and we're still kind of recovering and reeling from dealing with the army and all but I have news! Good news!

I figure now is probably a better time, since we're back from that fight and all now, but. Guess who showed up?! Riku is here!

[Yup, someone is all but bouncing in his excitement, beaming with his grin to the bracelet at his wrist. It's been a few days but he was still ecstatic to have his best friend here. Who he may or may not have mentioned to almost everyone here already at some point over the last few months he'd been here without the other. Cue Sora pulling out a drawing something like this but with shorter hair, a bare hint more of a smile, and different outfit.

Yes. Yes this drawing is supposed to be his best friend. Look, he is not exactly known for his art skills. He tried.]

See? This is him! So if you see him around, say hi! He'll need to make new friends now he's here with us. Also. I figured out one of my powers here! Finally! I can sort of...make like this magical armor? To help protect people! So if any of you need something like that if there's more fights, or something like that, I can help out!

[Which is kind of similar to his initial use of Aero back home in it starting more defensively than being an offensive spell at first. Sort of. Sora is just thrilled to make some progress there at least. And he can finally report that he figured at least the first of his new abilities. This might be somewhat a standard and expected one for Heimdall, but even so, he's still excited.

And then, of course, cue him taking a moment again to figure turning the thing off, for as much as he was improving in using these things.]

Hey everyone! So, now I've seen we have animals....you remember how I was talking about making ice cream before? Well, it might take a bit longer to make enough if everyone wants some, but. Come over and we can make our best effort!

[Because of course this is Sora's priority here. Finding out there were animals and having asked the Gods regarding...well, a freezer to keep it cold, of course. He's trying at least, to make plenty of it for everyone, especially with having heard that some people have never had any ice cream before. Of course the initial flavor will be sea salt, which might not be to everyone's tastes but he can also figure some others that are more traditional as well.

He now only has Naminé from home with him, but he is still trying to do what he can. Possibly in part because he knows this is something Roxas and Xion would have liked, and as something to keep him from getting too down about missing them and Ventus. Keeping busy helps. Between wanting to do this, figuring his training in wanting to learn about his new powers here, and continuing his attempts to not get too rusty with his Keyblade, he keeps busy enough. He is probably making a right mess of the kitchen doing this but that is half of the fun aside from the taste testing, right? Of course it is.]

His majesty, King Turgon, and I were hoping to begin a chess club! And I would like to invite anyone who enjoys playing or would like to learn to play to join us! We're... still figuring out the where and the when but I suppose we're trying to see how many people would like to join us!

And oh ah, all of the gods who might wish to play are welcome to join us too! It's not just for us... the ones who arrived here, that is.

Everyone is invited to join, there will be proper tea and biscuits at our first meeting... whenever and wherever that may be.

While... there is a good deal about fighting and the sorts, the mind has to be just as sharp as the body, and they say chess is perfect for that!

[Hi Asgard!

Greeting everyone today is Sora. Or. Initially, you all get a close up of Sora's wide, bright blue eyes, as he blinks and tries to check the bracelet. He's still getting the hang of this and practicing so it might take a bit before he perfects using this thing. Give him a moment to figure how to make it zoom out a little bit more to actually see his face. He sits cross legged in his housing in Heimdall, head tilted, hair shifting slightly with the movement.]

-- is it working? I think that's it....?

Hey everyone! I'm Sora! I've probably said hi to some of you already before, but. In case I haven't already, hi. [There, of course, he gives a wave with his gloved hand.] A-anyway, I know we've been talking about the dragon and ways to help keep everyone safe but this is important too! Food! My friends and I were talking and you know what we miss? Ice cream! I'm not really sure how to make it here though? Since we'd need the ingredients and it isn't like I've seen any cows or anything. I know there can be alternatives to using dairy products though? So that might be an option if anyone remembers what those might be.

Also how much of everything to use. And we need a freezer to keep it in. I would just keep it cold using Blizzard or something but I can't seem to use my magic anymore. Or, it's different here? Something like that. I'm still working on that.

But -- anyway. I was just wondering if anyone else knew another recipe we could use if we don't have access to the usual dairy ingredients we'd need. That's what I was wanting to ask about. That way we can have some ready for Roxas if he gets back!

[Look. Ice Cream is Important okay. At least, to the Kingdom Hearts kids. And depending on where and when some might be from, even, they might not have had it before! This must be remedied! Clearly.

Also Sora is still maybe not quite used to the idea of just. Asking Gods for things, so he hasn't considered yet to just. Ask Heimdall or one of the others for what he needs to do this. Even if he did totally rub Genie's lamp like. For help opening jars and stuff.....look it is different when you are dealing with Gods?]

Now to turn it off I just.....?

[ The feed clicks on to show Peter chilling by his ship in Vænnstaðr's park; he has a crossbow, blueprints and some metal pieces scattered on top of the crate next to him. For those looking at the ship behind the man, they might notice that there's moss growing on one side already and that Peter has put some plants on the roof to appease the resident Goddess -- because Skadi is a very scary, scary lady. ]

Ey there! Does anybody know how to turn a normal crossbow into an automatic one? Rocket was the weapon expert of the team and I'm more used to Quad blasters and arrows that fly on their own. [ Peter's smile wavers a little after that, remembering the owner of a said arrow, but it only lasts a second. ]

Anyway! I'm also curious about what kind of powers everyone has developed after being in the city for a while. It looks like there's quite a variety and lately, we've been discussing ways to protect ourselves in case of an emergency, as well as the need to evacuate the citizens quickly. One idea is to build big enough carriages and ships to transport people but these need to be protected too.

One of the wings of my ship is... [ The Guardian turns the camera so it focuses on the broken wing, half attached to the ship due to the twisted metal, some cables, and its inner structure. ] ...totally useless now but the turbines could be turned into wind turbines and the metal panels could be used to reinforce the carriages.

[ Do you want a medieval tank, guys? Because this how you get a medieval tank. ]

Problem is, I tried with axes and other blunt methods but I can't break it down on my own. That's why I was asking if anybody has powers strong enough to cut metal or melt it.

[ He turns the camera back to show himself and now that the angle has changed, it shows how there's a caracal lying on top of the intact wing of the ship as if she's sunbathing without any care in the world. Peter is seemingly oblivious to it all, not even looking concerned when the creature yawns and stretches, showing some really sharp fangs and claws. ]

Any kind of help would be welcome.

[Despite being from 1960s America, Claire's adjusted rather quickly to this network--mostly from watching, and mostly from delicately fiddling about with the bracelet herself. Still, she looks a little uncertain when she begins to record. Anyone that saw her in her early days of Asgard will realize that wavy bob she once wore was the result of a powerful perm that her hair as since escaped. It's natural state is much curlier, frizzier, and unmanageable, and it's mostly pulled back out of her face for now. She takes a moment to fix it before speaking.]

Hello. It seems we've taken to using this network to establish things. Councils, services offered... and whatnot. [She only looks at it now and then.] I thought I'd bring some attention to a matter that's been of some concern to me since I noticed it, not long after coming to Asgard.

[Brace yourselves, youths.]

We have a lot of children among us. Children that would still be living with their parents if they weren't here. I think we all need to be... mindful of that, say, if a dragon decides to cause trouble. Or if there's any sort of trouble at all.

Our living arrangements do offer a sense of security, but I think in the event of a crisis or even things raining from the skies, we should have a safe place for the younger ones here. I work at the hospital--it'd be busy during a disaster, but I don't think anyone would chase anyone away that wanted to be somewhere safe, with people.

Of course, if anyone has any better ideas, I'd love to hear them. I'm far from an expert on this city and what it has to offer. I suppose the point of this is that we should be looking out for the kids, especially if someone else would be doing it for them at home. I'm sure some of you are doing so already.

And before anyone under the age of oh, seventeen or eighteen decides to come after me with the whole I can take care of myself spiel, I know. You probably can. Doesn't mean you should.
