[ The feed clicks on to show Peter chilling by his ship in Vænnstaðr's park; he has a crossbow, blueprints and some metal pieces scattered on top of the crate next to him. For those looking at the ship behind the man, they might notice that there's moss growing on one side already and that Peter has put some plants on the roof to appease the resident Goddess -- because Skadi is a very scary, scary lady. ]
Ey there! Does anybody know how to turn a normal crossbow into an automatic one? Rocket was the weapon expert of the team and I'm more used to Quad blasters and arrows that fly on their own. [ Peter's smile wavers a little after that, remembering the owner of a said arrow, but it only lasts a second. ]
Anyway! I'm also curious about what kind of powers everyone has developed after being in the city for a while. It looks like there's quite a variety and lately, we've been discussing ways to protect ourselves in case of an emergency, as well as the need to evacuate the citizens quickly. One idea is to build big enough carriages and ships to transport people but these need to be protected too.
One of the wings of my ship is... [ The Guardian turns the camera so it focuses on the broken wing, half attached to the ship due to the twisted metal, some cables, and its inner structure. ] ...totally useless now but the turbines could be turned into wind turbines and the metal panels could be used to reinforce the carriages.
[ Do you want a medieval tank, guys? Because this how you get a medieval tank. ]
Problem is, I tried with axes and other blunt methods but I can't break it down on my own. That's why I was asking if anybody has powers strong enough to cut metal or melt it.
[ He turns the camera back to show himself and now that the angle has changed, it shows how there's a caracal lying on top of the intact wing of the ship as if she's sunbathing without any care in the world. Peter is seemingly oblivious to it all, not even looking concerned when the creature yawns and stretches, showing some really sharp fangs and claws. ]
Any kind of help would be welcome.

[ A pause. ]
Is that big cat your pet?

Uh? [ Peter looks around and then up, noticing where Sandy is. ] Ohhh...No, Sandy is my spirit familiar. I learned how to summon her here, she can change shape into different animals. I'm trying new ones almost every day to see if there's a limit.
no subject
Yo. No idea what a spirit familiar is, by the way. What are they for?

Woah woah, wait, wait
Did you say arrows that fly on their own?
What's all this?
Oh, and I can smell when you lie
That is definitely a thing
Permavideo
Ey, the text is teal!
And yes the arrow flew on it's own but you needed a special fin on top of your head and to whistle to control the direction and speed.
Is it now...even when you're not next to me? That would make you the greatest detective ever.
[ Good thing he isn't lying about the Yaka Arrow. ]
no subject
Oh, so it was like some sort of controlled tech or projectile that you used sound to manipulate?
That's actually badass, as weapons go.
I've never seen anything like that.
I haven't tried it on text yet.
I would wager it doesn't work quite so well right now, and I have to concentrate.

I don't think I'd be any good at protecting anyone or making sure they can get away but
I might be able to help if someone is injured.
[ Also, now that she's here... curiosity is definitely a thing. A personal struggle, if you will. ]
What happened to your ship?
Perma Video;
You'd be surprised how easy is to help others if you put your mind to it, even if it's only reassuring people when they're scared. Oh, do you have healing powers?
[ Peter gives her a friendly even if he's only getting texts in return. ]
It fell to the city a few weeks ago, when random objects were raining from the sky. Since it was a free fall, the Benatar crashed pretty badly against the ground. Thankfully no one got hurt.
[ text ]
Something like that.
I've only used it on minor injuries so far.
I want to know how much I can do but finding out seems like it could be dangerous.
[ The ship falling from the sky certainly makes sense enough, but it-- has a name? ]
Did you name it that after you found it here or was it yours before?

[Cue pout. He's been trying to keep quieter about how frustrating that is but. Well.]
And you get your ship?! I wish I had the Gummi ship here too.
[Still. It does seem pretty busted. Sora tilts his head as Peter shifts the camera around a bit at the damage.]
But ah, I might be able to help? If my Keyblade can cut through it. Cid or Chip and Dale did the work on the ship back home but I am good at breaking things.
[It is what usually happens when Sora is around technology at least.....]
Re: video;
[ Peter guesses he got lucky, both with the powers and the ship, which is actually super rare for him. And that pout is very cute, Sora. Peter understands the frustration which is why he's trying really hard not to smile. ]
The ship fell into the city a few weeks ago, when random objects were showing up everywhere and raining from the sky. You've been to space too? Wait, a Keyblade...? Ventus has one of those, are you from the same world?
See, I'd really appreciate the help but I also would like to cut the wing in the less violent way possible so the ship doesn't break further. I want the turbines of the wing to still be functional and try to give the city some renewable energy.

Did you ask Tony? He can probably take a look at the cross bow. He was the one who always made our weapons back home. You can probably bribe him with some tech.
[ As for the other thing. ]
I don't have anything that can cut through metal but I can help move it once you get t cut. Just let me know what you need me to do.
Re: Video
No, I didn't. He seems to be busy with his own projects and I don't want to bother him constantly asking for stuff. [ Tony already let Peter charge his Zune, and having music helped a ton, that's why the Guardian doesn't want to ask for too many things. ] But if I manage to cut off the wing, I'll have more than a few useful gadgets for him.
That would be amazing, man. You're still super strong here, then? [ And it ears Steve a grateful smile. ] A kid named Sora has a huge keychain and he says it can cut through the metal, we're going to give it a try.

[These things are already like the pinnacle of technology where he's from. How do you improve on something already so advanced?]

Automatic crossbows come with a mechanism where you can place various arrows at the same time, and it allows you to shoot several times in quick succession before having to reload them.
It's very useful if you are firing against an opponent that is either big or fast, like the dragon that attacked us some weeks ago. Less time reloading means less chances to get killed while your weapons is unusable.

Ey, Shirley Temple. How is my favorite girl doing? Uhm..well a pair of extra hands are always welcome if you really want to come over and see the ship up close. Have you discovered if you have a power too?
