[ The feed clicks on to show Peter chilling by his ship in Vænnstaðr's park; he has a crossbow, blueprints and some metal pieces scattered on top of the crate next to him. For those looking at the ship behind the man, they might notice that there's moss growing on one side already and that Peter has put some plants on the roof to appease the resident Goddess -- because Skadi is a very scary, scary lady. ]

Ey there! Does anybody know how to turn a normal crossbow into an automatic one? Rocket was the weapon expert of the team and I'm more used to Quad blasters and arrows that fly on their own. [ Peter's smile wavers a little after that, remembering the owner of a said arrow, but it only lasts a second. ]

Anyway! I'm also curious about what kind of powers everyone has developed after being in the city for a while. It looks like there's quite a variety and lately, we've been discussing ways to protect ourselves in case of an emergency, as well as the need to evacuate the citizens quickly. One idea is to build big enough carriages and ships to transport people but these need to be protected too.

One of the wings of my ship is... [ The Guardian turns the camera so it focuses on the broken wing, half attached to the ship due to the twisted metal, some cables, and its inner structure. ] ...totally useless now but the turbines could be turned into wind turbines and the metal panels could be used to reinforce the carriages.

[ Do you want a medieval tank, guys? Because this how you get a medieval tank. ]

Problem is, I tried with axes and other blunt methods but I can't break it down on my own. That's why I was asking if anybody has powers strong enough to cut metal or melt it.

[ He turns the camera back to show himself and now that the angle has changed, it shows how there's a caracal lying on top of the intact wing of the ship as if she's sunbathing without any care in the world. Peter is seemingly oblivious to it all, not even looking concerned when the creature yawns and stretches, showing some really sharp fangs and claws. ]

Any kind of help would be welcome.

And yes the arrow flew on it's own but you needed a special fin on top of your head and to whistle to control the direction and speed.

Is it now...even when you're not next to me? That would make you the greatest detective ever.

[ Good thing he isn't lying about the Yaka Arrow. ]

Oh, so it was like some sort of controlled tech or projectile that you used sound to manipulate?
That's actually badass, as weapons go.

I would wager it doesn't work quite so well right now, and I have to concentrate.

Yes, exactly. The arrow was made out of Yaka, a material that reacts to sounds, but it takes skill to use. It was as unique as the man who used it.

That definitely sounds like a signature weapon if I've ever heard of one. Almost good enough to sort of define the guy who's using it a little bit.

Heh, I'll take your word for it. I only use the trick if it's really fun or I need it. Kind of winds me a little to do it.

I never saw anybody else use one. It could cause a lot of damage, it was impressive to see at work.

[ After Yondu's dead he gave Kraglin the arrow and the man was learning how to make it fly but it would take him years to get to Yondu's level. It's still nice that he's using it. ]

Ok... uh, so... I'm not actually blind anymore, Pete. Just so you know. I wear the blindfold by choice. If I need to, I can see, though night's much better than daytime for me.

Well, not exactly lying. Just selective misinformation if that make sense? I didn't fill people in because I didn't wanna.

So... I don't actually like being able to see. I know, I know. It's weird as hell. Everyone that knows thinks I'm weird, but I'm a lot happier not being able to see. I make really dumb choices when I'm able to, and I got used to living blind.

How do you actually explain that to people? They never get it, Pete.

Yeah, selective misinformation is still lying. [ He's done it enough time to know! ] But I suppose you those are...somewhat reasonable reasons.

Do you get overwhelmed by sight? Sensory overload and all that?

I'll respect your choice if you want to keep using the blindfold but are you sure you aren't wearing it for another reason? Like hiding or as some sort of shield. [ Kinda like how he carries his quad blasters even though they're useful here ]

It's mostly mental and emotional, but ... trust me. The sun's really painfully bright. I'd only ever really want to take it off at night. We're nocturnal, subterranean sorts as a rule. [She grunted and sighed.] But like said. it's mental, so it is a bit of a shield, or a crutch of sorts.

Ey as long you're aware and we are in the same page. It's all good. [ He's not mad or anything, not really, so they're fine. ]

Okay, I do. [ Trust her, that's it. She knows better than him about her needs. ] What if we get you a pair of really cool shades instead? You could look badass and fashionable, and the sun wouldn't be such a big issue.

Hmmm, I used to have these badass red shades that I wore when I was blind. They were something else, but I'm not entirely sure that they'd do the trick around here during daylight hours. I'm not opposed to trying... but I don't know.

Blindfold's a bit more sure, after all. [She grinned at him.] But hey, like I said, I can try. And besides, being the blind badass is going to look kickass too!

You could still talk to the local craftsmen in the city. They are very good at coming up with pretty much all we ask them for as long as we give them enough detail.

Maybe here there are some minerals that can be used to make the glasses that will help you more. I don't know, ruby quartz perhaps? It's worth a try, yes, and in the meantime you have the blindfold. And you look badass no matter what, true.

I... might do that. Wouldn't mind the shades and most people wouldn't know I wasn't blind because my eyes are completely white... but I actually still have the blindfold, like you said, and I like the blindfold. It's

I carried a Sony cassette player with me for 26 years because my mother gave it to me. I do know.

[ Please don't laugh about the case player, it sounds silly but it's a sensitive topic, which is why he's haring it. ]

Hey, no, I absolutely get that. It's part of your personal thing. What makes you you. You are a total momma's boy, you know that? [Pause.] That's a compliment by the way. It's just... real obvious. She's probably the biggest deal in your life.

I wasn't offended, I heard it often enough. [ Peter shrugs. ] It was mostly only my mom and me growing up, we didn't have much but we had each other.

When she started getting sick my grandfather also tried to help. Coudln't do much, though.

Damn... well yeah, I get it. If it was just the two of you against the world, then she'd pretty much be the world. [She nodded in what she perceived was understanding.] Not a bad thing to be one in general, especially when it's like that.

Pretty much. And she never got to have the life she deserved, it wasn't fair.

[ This is a sore subject for Peter but he's comfortable enough with Terezi to talk about it, so it's all fine.
