[Sora's either taken a bit to click that he has a new ability. Or he just hadn't said anything about it yet exactly. Which is why he speaks up now. After a longer than usual absence on his end at least, from the network with the bracelets in him piping up to say something.]

Hey guys! Ah, I think I figured a new power again? That's kinda cool? It's...um. I need to bleed to do it though. I think it sort of gives the other person like a boost to get stronger? Or something like that? I bet that'll definitely come in handy!

[He probably discovered this while training in sparring with one of his friends accidentally or something. And yes he did say that was kinda cool. At the cost of weakening himself to aid his friends, of course.....because that is just how Sora rolls. For all that his friends worry about how reckless he can be and how sacrificing he can be if he sees someone else in trouble.]

Oh! Also! I know we've been here a while so most of us have probably had a birthday or have one coming up, right? So everybody knows they gotta have a party with cake and presents and all? I guess I kinda got distracted the other month from having mine...but I'm sixteen now!

[And....totally ignoring that chances are he is not gonna be celebrating that with his friends back home. Actually. Yes. Yes he is. Which is probably at least in part why he never said anything in March, but still. Clearly that he is sixteen now is the important news, guys! Belatedly. Sora just doing his part to cheer everyone up and terrify and worry them all at once of course.]

Ah, I'm used to a knock on the nose or something with sparring against Riku and the others for years since I can remember back home. This's fine, Rhys! I got it.

Can't help but notice there's nothing about worrying about hurting yourself in there.

I mean, I'm....used to fighting and getting hurt? I grew up sparring with Riku and the other kids. Then fought a lot of Heartless and the Organization and stuff back home after leaving the Islands.

[Rhys is not wrong though. Sora isn't as worried about himself getting hurt. More his friends.]

Yeah, I remember you've told me some of that. That doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about it, though, right? I'm kind of always worrying I'm gonna get seriously hurt someday.

[ But that might just be because of being born in the Borderlands, so uhhh. ]

I guess I just get more focused on what I have to do. On keeping my friends safe. If I do get hurt, I can handle it.

[Donald can cure him back home or something. Or Namine could help him here. Sora's no stranger to getting hurt, given he grew up sparring and running around and all.]

[Maybe he shouldn't just rely on that but. Well. Sora wants to keep his agreement to Namine to try be careful while still making the most of this. Being here. Given what he knows of back home.]

Sure, but I don't know if that's what you want to bet everything on.

Maybe not. But...well. If it means I can help someone, it's worth it.

[To him, at least. Namine especially has talked to him about how reckless he can be sometimes. About how it upsets and worries his friends, her. He's trying to keep that in mind and be better about it at least. Even with that worry, she acknowledges he wouldn't be Sora if he didn't try help.]

[ He sighs quietly. Hell, what could he do about that? He barely knows the kid. It's just ... weird. ]

I do! I'm not saying I'd just throw my life away. I just...if I can help. I want to. While trying to be careful, at least.

I dunno. I guess to some, my optimism and all might seem odd.

I think some people might see it more like recklessness.

Probably. I wouldn't say I'm not. I know I can be. When I know my friends might be in trouble, especially.

[If he can step in or help them somehow. He would. Without a second thought. An early example of that being his being willing to stab himself with the Keyblade to free Kairi's heart.]
