[Although Ariadne's starting to get the hang of this whole "network" thing, she isn't entirely comfortable with it. So the feed comes to life on her silhouette on the wall.
For those of you who have never heard her voice before, it's pretty mild, with the slightest lyrical lilt to it, like someone who was once a trained singer, perhaps. She sounds friendly enough. And perhaps painfully sincere.]
Um, hello? Can anyone hear me?
[She's going to assume it's working, anyway.]
My name is Ariadne. Oh, but you can call me "Airy" if you want. I guess I'm kind of new here. I'm living in Sigyn's house. It's really nice. It's warm and pretty. I have my own bed. And everyone's been so kind. And I met this nice person named--
[Getting off topic. Right then.]
Well, anyway. There's a lot of really great soil here. And I noticed that there were some foods and herbs missing from the feast the other day. I was thinking of trying to plant a garden. I was wondering if anyone had any fruits or herbs they'd like to request. So far, I was planning on raspberries, since you can eat the berries and use the leaves to settle a sour belly or relieve a fever. Blackberries, again for the berries, and the leaves since they reduce swelling. Rosemary for seasoning and pain relief. And strawberries for...well, all sorts of reasons.
The gods permitting, of course.
Anyway, is there anything the healers here might need? I'm...I'm really good with plants.
[It's almost apologetic. Like she doesn't want to brag or draw too much attention to herself.]
If all goes well, I could try cacao but...I'm not sure the climate is right. I'll have to think about that. If there were a way to keep the air warm and damp all year...maybe?
[And she trails off, mulling over the possibilities.]
