Oh, right. I wasn't sure if you made it to the palace. This place is so weird, I walked into a room that had a cliff as its floor. *A cliff*. The gods need to reconsider their taste in interior decor.

Heh, yeah, made it to the palace safely.
We're cold-blooded to one extent or another, so even if I can handle the cold I really don't like it.
The palace is so much better, even if it's weird in here sometimes.

Good, I'm glad. That means the cold makes you a bit sluggish, right? I've met aliens who were cold-blooded before. Do you have enough blankets in your room?

[When he came by the library, she smelled him before she saw him. Holy fuck that was a lot of red. Her nostrils flared and her had popped up, the girl brightening considerably and flashing her fangs right before he got there...

I remember that you told me about your fish friend. Does it get cold often in your home planet?

[ Red is one of Peter's favorite colors, along with green. So he has a similar taste as Terezi. And he's so not surprised when she licks the blanket. He laughs and then wraps it around her shoulders, taking it as an opportunity to give her a hug. ]

Of course! one of the best colors for the best troll lady I know.

[mindseer]

My ... oh, feferi? I guess yeah. she'd call us fish fronds! Hahahaha, she loved frond puns a lot!

[Because her 'fish friend' was definitely not Eridan. Screw that little shit. But Feferi was cool by royalty's standards. She'd also never tried to murder her, so that was a bonus.]

It usually stays pretty damned warm where we come from. Maybe cold at the poles but nobody goes there. The sun's really bright. [Grin] And you're spoiling me with all that sinful red.

Fish fronds it is then. [ Peter laughed at the bad pun because...well, bad puns are the best puns. ]Now, what if we sit down or somefin to talk?

[ People not trying to murder you sure are more easy to befriend, that for sure. But in Peter case, murders attempts never really got in the way of friendship, or romance, because both Nebula and Gamora had tried to kill him in the past. ]

Then no wonder this weather is so annoying to you. Red's one of the best colors and maybe I like to spoil you. It's Christmas, is the best time of the year to spoil people. Do you celebrate it Altor...altre...in your troll planet?

[ He's forgotten the name, sorry Terezi. ]

[ You're being suspiciously insistent about the whole "I'm fine" deal right there, Terezi! And while what the troll is saying does make sense - most people would be better off back home - she knows it still isn't always so easy to accept that.

So of course she has to at least check up on Terezi. Through voice though, because.. texting just isn't for an old grandma time period-wise like Chizuru.. ]

Are you sure they're home? The castle is pretty big, maybe it's just hard to find them..

[Voice? Did she wanna do voice? Not really, but she could do it. A sigh echoed on the comm and she was obviously a little uncomfortable. not a lot uncomfortable, but a little as she spoke.]

I've been checking for a bit, yeah. Wanted to make sure before I made this post. They went poof a little while ago. Got back from the fighting, but they disappeared not long after that.

But I'm pretty sure the both of them have gone home.

[tealeafs]

Hmm.. [ There's a small sound of acknowledgement, but it takes a few more moments for words to follow. ]

I'm glad they at least got back from the fighting alright, then. [ Considering it would have been way worse if they had died back there and then just.. never reappeared after despite others having.. ] But it must still be tough to not have your friends around anymore. I'm sorry, Terezi.

It's... well, I'm both sort of used to it, and not used to it. [She grunted a little bit.] Right there, towards the end, I was almost entirely on my own...

But I do miss 'em, so maybe one of those bums will show up again soon. That'd be nice. Put 'em to good use and all.

Has it happened before?

[ She'd rather linger on that last part - that still has a bit of hope in it - rather than the sad implications of the first thing Terezi has said. The other can probably use every single shred of positive thinking right now. ]

Someone disappearing here and then suddenly appearing again soon after?

I... wanna say it's happened, but not to anyone I know from home? Yeah, I can't quite remember who it was, but I've known a couple who came back.

Oh wait, I think Finn did? Maybe?

[ The name doesn't seem familiar to Chizuru. But then again, it's not like she knows everyone in this place - so she'll just trust Terezi on her word. ]

Oh, really..? That must have been so strange for that person. [ She hums, seemingly thinking about it. ] And maybe a little sad too. Imagine thinking you're finally home again, only to show up here again right after.. It seems like it'd be slightly disappointing.

Yeah he was saying something like that. And I could see it. Yeah. It'd be really unpleasant if you wanted to be back home.

[Did she? Yes, but no not really. Being home would be great, but it wouldn't come with a happy ending, so...]
