NPC POST: YOU SPIN ME RIGHT ROUND
[ When the video feed turns on, it's a wide shot of Honir standing there wearing this with his arms outstretched. He turns in a little circle before facing the camera again, and the whole time, there's this gleeful grin on his face like he's having the time of his life. ]
Look at this! Isn't it fun?
[ He finally clamors closer to the camera, sitting in frame to beam his enthusiasm directly to your screen. ]
You mortals have so many different ways of covering your bodies. I don't really get it, but it's still exciting. This one feels nice! It's called a hanfu, they said.
[ He lifts his arms again and flaps them just a little, looking from side to side with joyful amusement at the prospect of… sleeves? Apparently? ]
What other clothes do you have? Can I try them?
[ A… totally normal question from a totally normal… god?? ]
[ OOC: responses will likely be slow as is my norm, sorry ;; but this is a silly small thing I wanted to toss up real quick! Ye Zun taught the natives how to make this traditional Chinese garb, and other characters are welcome to introduce elements of their own fashion to the city as well! let us know if you have any questions about this on the player plot page! ]

I don't see, but yours is really cool!
[ Cluelessly amazed, Honir's default state of being. ]

His moment of understanding last approximately point zero five seconds. ]
Do you need me to show you how they are worn properly?
Also to answer your question, calling a person 'gentle' is equivalent to calling them well-mannered.
no subject
Would you really? That would be very gentlemanly of you!
[ Look, he can learn! Although there's still an edge to his eager smile like he's not 100% sure he used the word right, and he's waiting for Ye Zun's response to make sure. ]

[ Even if he grumbles about it, like what he was doing inside his head right about now. And here he thought these god-beings were suppose to be grown up. Mostly. ]
Whenever you have time, of course.
no subject
I will always have time, especially for you Wanderers! Do you want me to come to you? Do you want to come here? I bet they'll love your hanfu!
[ Not… at all registering that perhaps they made it for Ye Zun. ]
no subject
[ Maybe because he doesn't think about time being a mere mortal invention and not having an affect on the gods themselves. ]
They did make this one for me, but I had to actually show them my original set for them to get started on it.

Yes, they are at that. I suppose I could visit you and show you more styles and how to wear them. [ Not that he expects this guy to get the proper form right. ]

[ Honir will Try His Hardest. ]
no subject
Right. Are you at that place trying them on?
no subject
I am! I'm sure you know the way, but I could bring you here too if you wanted.
no subject
No, that's quite alright. I can find my way there.

[ Bless you, friend. ]
action.....
But in any case, he comes into the little store like a king - a full, honest-to-goodness sweep as he steps in, glances around and makes a simple ancient salute. ]
I should write out instructions at this point.
