[Sora's either taken a bit to click that he has a new ability. Or he just hadn't said anything about it yet exactly. Which is why he speaks up now. After a longer than usual absence on his end at least, from the network with the bracelets in him piping up to say something.]

Hey guys! Ah, I think I figured a new power again? That's kinda cool? It's...um. I need to bleed to do it though. I think it sort of gives the other person like a boost to get stronger? Or something like that? I bet that'll definitely come in handy!

[He probably discovered this while training in sparring with one of his friends accidentally or something. And yes he did say that was kinda cool. At the cost of weakening himself to aid his friends, of course.....because that is just how Sora rolls. For all that his friends worry about how reckless he can be and how sacrificing he can be if he sees someone else in trouble.]

Oh! Also! I know we've been here a while so most of us have probably had a birthday or have one coming up, right? So everybody knows they gotta have a party with cake and presents and all? I guess I kinda got distracted the other month from having mine...but I'm sixteen now!

[And....totally ignoring that chances are he is not gonna be celebrating that with his friends back home. Actually. Yes. Yes he is. Which is probably at least in part why he never said anything in March, but still. Clearly that he is sixteen now is the important news, guys! Belatedly. Sora just doing his part to cheer everyone up and terrify and worry them all at once of course.]

Yeah, I remember you've told me some of that. That doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about it, though, right? I'm kind of always worrying I'm gonna get seriously hurt someday.

Yeah, it's kind of strange here. Not only have I met people from the past, I've also met people who I know are from books back home. I've told some of the people from the past about the future. It's a bit unavoidable, unfortunately.

Yeah, one of my friends doesn't remember nearly as much as I do from home on what all happened. So I get that. I've talked to her about what I remember. But like you said, I'm not sure I could have managed not saying anything.

Yeah. I know they were restored back when we defeated the one we thought was responsible at the time though. The Heartless don't just take people's hearts, but sometimes the hearts of the worlds. That's why they're such a big threat. I haven't see any here though.

Hearts. It usually means that person becomes a Heartless themselves.

[Unless they were particularly strong, in which case it was usually a Nobody that is created. It could get a little complicated with some being made artificially too.]

[Definitely a lot of steps to this whole thing, more shenanigans than the dark arts Rhus knows, and perhaps this slight exasperation is evident on his face, a couple of wrinkles appearing on the bridge of his nose and between his brows-- rather brow and eyepatch. Still, he sheathes his greatsword.]

It's complicated? I've never had to really explain it to someone else before. But it's fine, there's no Heartless here that I know of.

[Sora gives a nod, at least. It seems like that from what he managed last time. So he reaches with the blood from his finger, reaching to touch at the back of Rhus' hand. Even just that much might make a little difference. He just hadn't wanted to reach out like that without telling him about it?]

[Just saying, if people's spaceships can crash into the place, there's no telling what other shit from other people's worlds might sneak its way in.]

[Rhus has to secretly thank whatever higher power outside of the local gods that this particular blood magic doesn't need anything more finicky than skin contact with said blood. That'd be more than just awkward, he thinks as he eyes the red beading on the boy's finger, and holds up his hand in the (hopefully) universal sign of "hold a moment, please".

Then he goes through the motions, drawing his blade again and practically sparring with the training dummy, dealing it three blows in quick succession that would have sucked a chunk of aether out of it if circumstances weren't what they are right now-- or ruined the dummy completely if he hadn't been using the flat of his sword. He's jumped in the air at some point, the last strike a downward blow that makes the training dummy rattle, but not fall.

The Miqo'te wipes off his brow afterward-- bugger it all, but he's getting out of shape, being so idle around here for so many weeks.

Not good.

He sighs, and holds out one arm to the boy, many, many inches of bare skin available for him to drip blood on.]
