Hello. I'm Kaworu Nagisa and I've arrived recently. It's the first time I am allowed to be by myself, and while it sounds refreshing, it is quite confusing. I do not fully understand why I was brought here or what my role in this world should be, but I'm patient and I'm certain I will eventually find out. [ he smiles wider. Kaworu likes smiling a lot ]

I honestly don't know that I remember what happy even feels like. Not truly. I'm not sure I've ever had anything like it long enough to truly be affected by it properly.

[That sounds pathetic, but it's also true. A life of abuse lived on the run, full of paranoia, violence, and "lessons" that resulted in long stretches of lost time did not exactly make much room for happiness. His family were not all that familiar with it.]

If it makes you feel better, I don't think any of us know why we were selected specifically. But I don't think that has anything to do with being alive...? It takes a while to find your purpose, don't worry if yours hasn't come to you yet.

I'm certain each person has their own definition. After all, one can only see as far as their own vision of the world, but each of you sees it differently. That's your individuality.

[ he shakes his head at the last question ] I did not have parents. I was in a laboratory and my surroundings were always controlled.
