[Sora seems as happy as ever, probably excited about something or other again going by his usual timing of using the bracelet like this.....]
Hey guys! So, if I'm still figuring the timing about right, Valentines is coming up! I'm gonna make chocolates!
[No. Not just for his friends from home, either. Knowing Sora he probably faces that same thing with Christmas with wanting to do this for Everyone.......
Someone should really tell him to learn to calm it down. If that's even possible for him.]
Oh, right. Not everyone might get it. But, uh, Valentines is like a celebration of friends! Or more. If you have someone special! You get them flowers or chocolate and show you appreciate them! It's not as huge a thing as Christmas or anything, but. I still like it! And if I make too much chocolate, just means I can save some for later!
[So this is clearly just a win all around, right? Obviously.]
On the other hand, with my training lately, I figured I can do something else too! I don't think Riku was too thrilled though.... but I can help in fights by taking hits for others!
[......this is decidedly probably not something he should seem as thrilled about? But he is anyway. Because of course he is if it means he can help keep his friends safe.]

[Ivar was luckier then most, so he tried to not complain too much. Being a prince, he'd at least grown up with enough to eat all the time, which not all of his subjects had.]
No, I don't believe much has been told on this subject. Why do people dress up? And how does one acquire all the chocolate during it? Is it sacrificed to some gods?
no subject
[Amid the obvious coconut and fish and fruits diet. Still, Sora gives a smile at being able to explain.]
You dress up as whatever you want to! Sometimes something funny or scary, usually. You get chocolate by Trick or Treating! So you go around to everyone's house and say 'Trick or Treat' and -- usually, unless they've run out, you'll get some chocolates and lollies! It's....er, not sacrificed or anything. It's yours to eat.

[Hey, they were cheap, easy to catch, and there was an abundance of them, so they made up a lot of a typical Norse diet meatwise.]
This sounds like a brilliant way to get lots of candy. I definitely propose we add this to the holidays celebrated here!

[Sora grins, giving a chuckle.]
When it's closer to October -- or er, whatever equivalent here, I'll remind everyone. I love Halloween!

[Ivar laughs just a little as well.]
You are a strange one. So optimistic. But I find I like that in some people.
no subject
[And strange? Well. Sora's certainly been called worse. He gives a shrug.]
Well. Donald and Goofy say that our ship runs on happy faces.

[Why didn't the Vikings move elsewhere? Who knows. It might have been a desolate place, but it was their home at the end of the day.]
I suppose I need to keep people like you around. You balance me out.
[For Ivar is a born cynic and usually sees the worst in everything.]
no subject
[He flip flops on being a fan. But well. He is an Island boy. He doesn't take to cold well.]
Balance you out, huh?
no subject
[Ivar may have grown up in snow, but he's none too fond of it. But considering he had to crawl through it using only his arms when the snows were taller then his head, it was justified.]
Yes. I see too much bad in everything. People like you, and Alice, and Peter keep me from falling too far into dark thoughts.
no subject
[Maybe he would enjoy that sort of thing more if he were dressed better for it. Unlike with Arendelle. Still, he gives a shrug and raises a hand to scratch at his cheek.]
Yeah? Well....then I guess that's good. Balancing things out or whatever, right?
no subject
[It made Ivar happy to throw the snowballs at people. It was small-scale warfare with much lower odds.]
It is good. Having balance around this place keeps it from tipping too far one way or the other.

[Unlike when he was in Arendelle stuck in the mountains trying to get to Elsa's ice palace. Which was decidedly not fun in short sleeves and shorts. Especially because he's an Islander used to the tropical weather and heat of the sun.]
Heh, something like that. I guess, yeah.
