Hey guys! So, if I'm still figuring the timing about right, Valentines is coming up! I'm gonna make chocolates!

[No. Not just for his friends from home, either. Knowing Sora he probably faces that same thing with Christmas with wanting to do this for Everyone.......

Someone should really tell him to learn to calm it down. If that's even possible for him.]

Oh, right. Not everyone might get it. But, uh, Valentines is like a celebration of friends! Or more. If you have someone special! You get them flowers or chocolate and show you appreciate them! It's not as huge a thing as Christmas or anything, but. I still like it! And if I make too much chocolate, just means I can save some for later!

[So this is clearly just a win all around, right? Obviously.]

On the other hand, with my training lately, I figured I can do something else too! I don't think Riku was too thrilled though.... but I can help in fights by taking hits for others!

[......this is decidedly probably not something he should seem as thrilled about? But he is anyway. Because of course he is if it means he can help keep his friends safe.]

Fine. I'll consider it if you promise me one thing. ( He knows Sora too well and knows it will be an useless promise, but at least that will make him feel better. Even if it's just a bit. ) That you are going to use that new power of yours with responsibility.

[Though, well. Given Sora's track record and his later attempts to fix things back home that is. Yeah probably gonna be something Riku will need to talk him through more than once but. He can. Try? At least?]

I take it. Now, about the chocolate part, how many are you planning to do? Because you may or may not have enough time with how easy you get distracted.

( And here comes the smirk on his face. )

How many? Uh. I dunno? I hadn't thought on the exact number.....

[But that. Might be something to consider. Time. Although --]

( Riku just snorts, but the smirk is still visible on his face after that. That's his punishment for getting a hit that was aimed for him. Even if it was a hit from Sora. )

Yeah, Sora? Need something? ( Throwing the 'I'm innocent, I said nothing' card. )

[....yeah he gets distracted but! This is important! He can totally make chocolates!

But what I said is still valid, you may not have enough time if you want to give chocolate or whatever to many people.

[Sora and Riku being childhood friends and all, this is hardly surprising that certain things at least, have never changed between them even with everything that they've been through. Everything that happened between them.]

I can try? Maybe the gods can help if I ask? To make it quicker a bit at least?

Isn't that cheating, So~ra? And I bet they have stuff more important to do than help someone prepare chocolates. ( A pause. ) Besides, it's not so special if someone helps you.

You never know unless you ask! I wasn't thinking of asking them for the chocolates outright! Just the ingredients or the recipe at least!

[Because, well. yeah, it wouldn't be quite the same? If you had help with it. Sora wants to try this himself.]

Okay. Yes, please!. Ask for the recipe... If they can't ask someone else. Do it.

( Prepare anything edible without knowing the recipe? Not a good idea. )

[Look he doesn't want to mess up when he is making chocolates for others? He wants to try his best and of course that involves a recipe and decent ingredients.]

Probably be easier if Little Chef were around here too. But I can do it!

I don't know what to think anymore with what you just said. Just, you know, as long as you don't burn the kitchen or whatever you use... I guess it should be fine.

( Well, it's just chocolate so it should be fine. If Sora manages to burn himself or anything in the process, or plain make the chocolate taste nasty, Riku will just lose all hope. )

I'm not gonna burn the kitchen down! I'm not....that bad.....

[And look. Little Chef is great! And kind of cute even if he is a rat. Sora can't help getting attached and amazed at his food and wanting to keep going back.]

Are you sure about that? ( He isn't serious, and should be obvious by his smile. Riku just doesn't want to think about his new power, so he is just probably too focused on his teasings. But that doesn't mean he isn't worried about the kitchen or whatever, in fact. ) You know I'm not going to stop until I taste it myself.

( If Sora asks, Riku isn't going to be the one to say no. Maybe on some serious stuff, but not on something so simple or even childish. )

[Because of course Sora isn't letting him get away with not helping out too. With not letting Riku try some as well.]

( And, even if he had much to do, he would just take a break from everything to spend some time with Sora. Back home he was unable to do so since... well, he started everything. )
