Pretty much all around the universe. After 30 years I lost count of the number of planet, galaxies, moons...Further than any other human in my universe, that much is easy to tell.

It's pretty much how things are with my world, I guess. It used to have the demon realm, Hell, sealed away from the human one, so no one could get through. That seal's been gone now for a long time. Demons tend to show up whenever they feel like it nowadays, so that's why there's devil hunters around.

[You're talking to one right now. And hey, when you've seen as much stuff as Nero has, talking about the crazy things in your life really doesn't phase you much anymore.]

That sounds like such a huge, terrible mess. Any idea what or who broke the seal? These things don't usually happen out of the blue. Being a devil hunter sounds badass, though. But how do you kill a demon? With salt? Holy water? An exorcism?

I'm no history buff- far as I can tell it's just been like that for ages.

[Vergil is more the type to provide the lessons about their world- or at least, about how things were for Sparda and co.

Though Nero snorts back a laugh at the question, shaking his head instead. He's ready, but the question now becomes "is Peter ready to hear how crazy some of their fighting styles get?"]

Nah, they don't react to those, they'll probably piss them off instead. These aren't the whole "pitchforks and pointed tail" deal you've heard of, either. You kill them basically with swords- guns can work, but they have to be specifically made to fight demons. Most bullets will just bounce off otherwise.

Then I'm sorry to hear it. Living with Hell at your door for so long is awful.

Ah, damn. Fire doesn't work either? Almost anything gets killed by fire, but I imagine that demons wouldn't even have the courtesy of dying that way.

That's why there's a ton of devil hunters around. You gotta have someone clean up the messes and protect people, right?

[He laughs, obviously amused by that.]

Fire sometimes works, depends on the demon. Fire demons obviously it won't do shit for, but if you've got one that uses ice? It'll work. My sword actually can put fire along the blade so it can hurt that much harder when it connects.

[Red Queen is one of a kind in that aspect- Nero took her and removed the limiter that was placed on the blade, letting him hit harder and faster without breaking the weapon.]

Heroes are always needed, more so against demons.

Are there a lot of different elemental demons? That complicates things to a whole new level. Do you have your sword here? That sounds very cool.
