Hello, do forgive my manners but I am... unsure how else to announce this. I've newly arrived though I have spoken to a few of you before the... business with the White Walkers. And while the whole affair left us with few answers I am loathed to dwell on such at this time. Instead... I'm announcing the opening of a new venture of mine, at first started for a close... friend of mine, but now open to share with all

[ Sorry Vergil he just looks only slightly apologetic over this next bit. ] Gilver's features pizza as well as other Italian foods, though I do believe the Natives will accommodate other cuisine if given time and direction. It's located in Njord's district and will be open for all starting today.

[ What you don't miss, in Dante's case, is something of a thousand yard stare as he tries very hard to find words... any words. He opens his mouth, only to close it again, a moment later he opens his mouth again, only to close it again.

He's torn between being overjoyed, touched, and utterly horrified at the chosen name of this new establishment. The guiding light in his life that he should be overjoyed for now existing. ]

[ He can imagine. In so many ways, the name is horrifying to him on one level, but on the other level he just couldn't tell the natives no. They were just so earnest and nice about it that when he blurted out Gilver, he couldn't just say no and try something else.

So. Here they were. Having to live with the ridiculous name that Vergil had come up with when he thought he was being clever. Right before he realized he was a light-weight in the drinking department. ]

It was either my last name or my grandmother's name. They had been most insistent in that.

Really? Gilver? You couldn't have just used, I don't know, Sparda?

[ And V just looks away, licking his lips and being rather unsure. Because he did think of it but again, he was just a shadow as much as he was himself. Did he have the right to use the same name as the rest? ]

I wasn't sure.

[ Dante exhales, shaking his head, waving a hand in the air as to dismiss V's concerns. Not that simple, but he does it anyway. ]

It's... it's fine. Don't worry about it. [ It's not exactly fine, but whatever. ] They put you on the spot, can't really blame you for using that of all names.

[ There was a time when he wanted little more than to shut Griffon up but these days all he wanted was to see the loud familiar and let him cackle and snap at him. It would have been easier to shake off the all too friendly people so he had a moment to breathe and come up with something different, something not tying to a misspent youth. He sighs, and nods once, a quick jerk of his head before opening his book, looking down at the pages as they settled to - ]

It's an old name, a careless one as well. However, I do know the food is not careless at all.

[ All at once Dante's demeanor seems to shift, smile quick to find his face as he leans back and looks about as excited as a kid in a candy shop. Beside, poor choice in name aside, V somehow managed to aid in the opening of a god damn pizza shop. ]

Yeah, that didn't escape my notice. You may have well saved my soul with this most fantastic of gifts. Do you know how long it's been since I've had a good slice of pizza?

Mainly pizza. Once we get noodles perfected, there will be a few types of pasta as well.

[ There is one native that has gotten the knack for making noodles but they need a couple more to make them for the amount needed to serve. And once that was done, he may try other Italian-based foods. He doesn't remember all the type he would like to make, but he is going to try.

V smiles faintly and waves a hand at the big brick oven. ]

Unfortunately, we don't deliver, so it will be longer if you insist on staying where you are.

[ How dare you even suggest pasta to him? He would never betray his one true love pizza. ]

Seriously? [ Dante exhales heavily, throwing his hands up in the air. ] What kind of pizza place doesn't deliver? Fine, fine, I'll come around at some point.

I know, but the option is there... if you're ever need of something new.

[ Not that he expects that to ever happen. Unless Vergil twists his arm and tells him to eat something else. ]

The kind of pizza place that does not have cars. Horses are fine for some things, but I think a pizza by horse would look like something Nightmare sat on.
