Hello, do forgive my manners but I am... unsure how else to announce this. I've newly arrived though I have spoken to a few of you before the... business with the White Walkers. And while the whole affair left us with few answers I am loathed to dwell on such at this time. Instead... I'm announcing the opening of a new venture of mine, at first started for a close... friend of mine, but now open to share with all

[ Sorry Vergil he just looks only slightly apologetic over this next bit. ] Gilver's features pizza as well as other Italian foods, though I do believe the Natives will accommodate other cuisine if given time and direction. It's located in Njord's district and will be open for all starting today.

( Sigyn has discovered an affinity for food, especially strange delicacies that the Wanderers seemed to have cooked up back home. In fact, that this post is about some sort of food is basically all she understands about it. )

Oh, oh excuse me! ( The video shows her in shaded lighting, currently under a dome of roses that she considers her Goddess temple hidey-hole. Her hand is in the air, as if waiting to be called on -- though she continues anyway. ) Can you...describe a pizza? I don't know how to picture it in my mind. Or what it is, at all, really.

Most importantly, is it what Wanderers would call sweet?

[ Oh it is a food, a most special food and V finally wipes off the flour on his cheek and smiles. ]

Ah, you never had any before? [ A silly question, but he had to make sure. ] Pizza is a type of flat bread coated with tomato sauce, cheeses and anything else you desire. I do believe that it can be made sweet by instead layering icing and sugars over the bread and adding fruits.

Aha. So multi-faceted! I appreciate the idea of a food that can do and be so much. I haven't tried most foods, so I'm glad you're bringing in so much variety!

( Wanderers are certainly inventive in how multi-talented their food stuffs are! )

This restaurant in Njord's district then...can it make any type of said pizza? Including this sugar and fruit variety?

I can provide the fruit, if necessary.

Indeed. Pizza is, at it's heart, anything and everything so long the cook is capable.

[ Which these people are. V is glad that they are so accommodating towards him and his flight of fancy that resulted in this. ]

There's no need unless you have something special you want to share. But yes, the place is in Njord's district.

I'm sure this land has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables most Wanderers may not be familiar with...though they may also have side effects that are unexpected.

But mostly I offer because I want to experiment a lot with what might go on one. Apples, cherries, kiwi. Can you imagine something like a pineapple on a flat bread with cheese? It's strange enough that I'd like to try it.

I am sure there are. I've told the staff to be careful in their vesting of new choices for toppings.

[ He laughs softly and dips in a slight bow. ] Where I am from, we call that a... Hawaiian pizza.

( There's an obvious disappointment on Sigyn's face. )

Here I thought I'd come up with something strange and remarkable. Though I'm glad it won't be such an off-the-wall request.

I'll have to find a strange Asgardian fruit to put on one, that way it's a truly unique creation.

[ Poor goddess, V smile gentles just a touch but in all honestly he could not think of a pizza topping that he had never heard of before. ]

So long as you are careful who you give it to. The children I think would not be safe test subjects.

But of course. I wouldn't ask for any specialized menu items without thorough testing.

Even if I have to eat four pizzas myself. It's a price I'm willing to pay.

Ah, then do enjoy your... taste testing. I'm sure you will find some interesting combinations with pizza.

I've been explaining pizza and pasta to some of the people here, now we finally have a place for them. Thank you, it looks great. I'll make sure to visit.

[ V chuckles; why yes, it is a good question, it also seems rather hard to answer in definite terms. ]

It is what you wish to make of it. Some people will have a slice or two as a snack, others will eat an entire pie by themselves. In the end, it is something you may have to judge for yourself.

It took me some... convincing for them to grasp the idea, but I think it helped that I could describe it with some details. The hardest part was the cheese and meats but once that was figured out, the rest was easy.

It sounds most intriguing. What flavours would you recommend for someone who has never had one before?

The most basic of pizza is the cheese which does not have anything else besides cheeses and sauce on the crust. If you wish for the entire experience... then the supreme has all the choices in toppings; that is pepperoni, sausage, ham with the peppers and olives.

And from there, we get even more... specialties. But in all honestly, a pizza is very easy to customize into anything you wish. It is a flat bread with various toppings and then cooked.

Oh my. That... does sound rather like a lot of food. I can see why it could easily be considered a full meal. I suppose I might try with just the basic one to start... are you open for business at the moment?

They can be, yes.
