[ There's silence for a seconds before a small click is heard and then; ]
Caaan.....anybody...find meeeeeEEEE...somebody TOOOO looOOOooove...
[ The man.
The myth.
The legend.
Freddy Mercury himself.
Has Freddy Mercury arrived in Asgard, one might wonder? Wouldn't that be great? Sadly, that isn't the case and if anybody bothers to check, they will see that this network post lists Peter Quill as the author.
The Guardian waits until the music ends, hoping that anyone listening is enjoying the song for what it is: a gift. Once the beat dies down, there's another silence and Peter's voice speaks up. ]
You can thank the Goddess Skadi and the God Tyr for that. As for my own contribution, there's now a list of 300 songs available on the network for you to listen and share. The Network's new playlist should be available in all devices...ah, right about now.
If you all want to add more songs, there's a trick to it. They need to be pulled out of your memories and then added to the network; and you need to contact Skadi or Tyr for that. It's a painless process but it takes some time and might have some...harmless side effects. Things like getting a song stuck in your head or feeling lighthearted and sleepy.
[ Peter's voice lost a little of his previous cheerfulness at that final explanation. Getting the songs out of his memories had been a long and sometimes really stressful process due to his wariness when it comes to gods getting into his head. Hopefully, others won't have that problem and besides, the Gods also have a better idea of what are they doing. The hazards of being the first test subject. ]
Anyway! Have fun everyone, feel free to ask me questions. And now here's one last song for my best girl.
[ Which is Gamora, even if he doesn't specify it. There's another click and the song Ain't no mountain high enough starts playing. If one pays attention, Peter can be heard humming along with it in the background. ]
Feel free to use this to talk to Peter, for a general chat among the chars, or maybe to try the different songs that can now be played on the network. Have fun. ]

[ ooc: Here's a first list of the songs available from Peter's canon. Feel free to add any new songs to the list by leaving an ooc message to that post, thanks! The songs are also super quality because Skadi is the best.Feel free to use this to talk to Peter, for a general chat among the chars, or maybe to try the different songs that can now be played on the network. What's a Piña Colada, and is it really so good that it deserved a whole song?
It's a sweet cocktail! You need rum, coconut milk and pineapple juice to make it and it tastes like heaven. Do you know how to prepare rum, by any chance?

Why, thank you ma'am. [ He sounds very fond. It's not every day that someone gives him actual compliments. ] It wasn't easy but music always makes life better so I figured you all would enjoy it.
Do you have any favorite songs?

[She actually loves it, but Gamora suspects he knows that even if she's unhappy about other things.]

It wasn't something I enjoyed. I thought about not doing it for a while because of the procedure. But there was no other way to get the songs, the Zune doesn't work, nor does the ship's sound system without electricity. I didn't want you to worry so I kept it to myself. I also wanted to surprise you with the songs.
[ 'Our song', he doesn't say, because they probably have too many, but 'Ain't no mountain high enough' always comes to mind when he thinks of her. And so, when she admits to like it, Peter is silent for a second. His smile can probably be heard when he speaks again. ]
I'm glad, love.
[ There's another pause and before she can complain about him making everything sappy, the man adds; ]
Soooo....now we have songs to dance to.

I've never heard music like that before! That was lovely, Lord Peter! I don't know any such songs by heart beyond carols and rhymes and the songs we sing at school. I don't think anyone would want to listen to ring around the roses. [Especially not sung by children since that's about a 7 on the creepy scale.]
no subject
Hello, Princess! I'm glad you liked it! There's a lot of different style of music available now, you won't be bored I'm sure. Carols and rhymes are important to keep too, specially when you want to hear them during holidays.
[ Ey, some people are into creepy music. Not Peter but...some people. There's always a niche. ]
Ring around the roses? I don't think I know that one.

Out of all the harebrained things you've done, this is by far the best. I like the loud ones the best!
[No surprise there.]
I wish we could have these sung before battle back home. We always need something loud to get our blood flowing fast.
permavoice
Ah, you know me...go big or go home, as they say. The loud ones are great for singing until your voice is raw.
[ No surprise at all, nope. ]
That would have been something. I didn't have it in the Zune and I don't remember it fully but there's a classical piece from my world called 'The Ride of the Valkyries'. That would have been so cool and so fitting to listen while going into battle. I'll ask around and see if anybody remember the piece correctly so we can add it to the list.
And there was another composer, Tchaikovsky, he has an orchestral called 'Overture' that uses real cannons in it! He incorporated the shoots into the music. Obviously, you can only play it outside.

That was a song from your own world, I take it? How fascinating! Is all music from your world like that? I don't recognise the instruments...

You don't have any of those two instruments where you come from?

Permavoice;
Ah, thank you for the offer. I'm better now that all the songs are out. I had some decent rest and I don't think I'll be falling sleep at random anymore.

So, to hear more screeching crooners with their blaring bardic pandering all we need to do is let a god tinker around in our think pans?
What more could a girl ask for!
I can subject all of you to troll music!
(OOC: The good news being that her player can't remember any such thing, so the world is off the hook of that travesty. I mean, maybe there's ICP, but no way in heck is she thinking of juggalo crap.)
no subject
Oh, jesus, should I be worried? [ He's grinning so he's only trolling her back. ]

Just close the network and open it again, the new feature should sow up immediately. Look for a small button with a musical note on it.
