What was this? She saw a familiar icon and a video as a crane, and she just giggled internally. She really shouldn't. She knew better, but she couldn't resist. So, here. Have a video feed. no horrible colors. no numbers instead of letters.

There's a beady black eye in the screen that comes back to the crane. It pulls back to reveal a Blue Macaw's face, bobbing up and down, up and down. It started to chortle and laugh. Bob bob went the head and it clucked its tongue in amusement.]

'Rezi can talk! 'Rezi can talk! Rawwwwk! [more laughter.]

[Yep. Officially having too much fun with this.]

[The crane HONKS once in response, the bird instincts kicking in before her human brain does, but then she stops. And she just deadpans into the camera, as if disinterested.

She’s still capable of projecting disdain, I guess.]

[So, the response started with the bird clucking, chortling and laughing. Terezi had mastered the fine art of parrot laughter very quickly, and looked thoroughly amused right now. Her beady, coal-black eye looked at the screen between raucous gales of laughter and...]

[Was she trying to solicit awful crashing and burning videos, or offering an actual recommendation? Cranes had to be great flyers after all.]

[The crane tips her head back and flaps her wings once. It's clearly intended as a response, but what it means is another thing altogether- Wen Qing seems to think it comes across as a perfectly reasonable message. Or she doesn’t care whether the macaw can understand her or not.

[Bob bob, weave weave. More laughter. No, seriously, as soon as she'd figured out how to laugh, she was laughing all the time. This was great.

But hey, she could flap her wings. Terezi leaned back and flapped her own a few times, chortling away.]

[Hey, she could troll, but dude. Seeing the town was perfect from above. Not to mention it'd be easier to find her so she could try to squawk and fly circles around her.]

[The crane cocked her head to the side with a questioning trill, like this was somehow news. And perhaps it was. Honestly she hadn’t had much peace of mind to think about sightseeing.]

[She flapped her wings and started to fly upwards. it was a much easier trick for her size wingspan to simply flutter upwards. The video feed followed since it was based on its relation to the bird in question, and she started flying towards the height of the city, looking around for another possible bird in the area, especially a big, angry one.]

There was a THWAP as the crane attempted to turn the feed around- before the video changes, showing the rooftops around Baersevit Row. ]

[And as soon as the video started to shift, Terezi was looking for the sight of a big crane. It would be a whole lot easier to find and fly towards than her little blue body. Admittedly, it would probably be more obvious to Wen Qing that she was around when she started to hear a parrot cackling on the wind.]

[Sound doesn't travel as well outdoors, so when she does hear something- something that would be the human equivalent of shouting across a field to get her attention- the crane turns to look.]

[Yeah, cranes honk. Sorry about that.]

[They didn't honk like bicycle horns. That's all this parrot was going to ask. Bicycle horns meant clowns and clowns meant juggalos and juggalos meant it was clown hunting season again. Crane honking? not nearly so bad.

She flapped over and did a whirling spin around, laughing as she did.]

[Whether cranes have good situational intelligence remains to be seen, as Wen Qing merely stares at the blue mass of feathers. However, her dexterity right now is definitely not as good as Terezi’s, which the main reason she’s not moving. ]

[Eventually Terezi settled onto something where she could ruffle her feathers and watch, bobbing her heads as she observed the crane. In her opinion, Wen Qing needed to remember how to have fun. Yep.]
