[ The feed opens up to a shot of one rather lanky goth dressed in black who is currently sitting inside of a room that's a cross between a rather nice office and a comfy living room. While a certain dynamic duo are fighting just outside of view about paint colors, he seems perfectly at ease to ignore them, even if he kinda sorta has broken into the place they are painting a sign on. ]
I know that the gods have said before that our influences on this place would often bring some our dangers with us, that we should not see this as our fault. However, I would like to issue an apology of sorts for the demons drawn here by my... family. We have always been magnets for such creatures; even in our home world they always found a way to bring Hell to us.
[ V stretches slightly, his lips curving into a small ironic smile even as the fight between blue and red paint sounds like it's getting pretty heated. Of course, that's before the fight is disturbed by a roar and something banging around. V ignores this as well. ]
As much as we wished otherwise, it has also come to our attention that our... particular brand of services are still needed. Even if there are not always demons for us to fight we can always lend our strength to other such battles, or help in training others. So. We are opening the family business to help both our growing community and to prevent any... disasters like the ones witnessed earlier that our existence has caused.
[ And through the open doorway comes a large black panther, streaks of red and blue paint coating the large cat and dripping onto the floor as he trots over and shoves a battered and half full can of paint into V's chest. There's a choked off Shadow! as the feed goes red as the can spills over, which renders the rest of this voice only. ]
Suffice to say, Devil May Cry has come to Asgard. Once the sign is finished, of course.

In some places, he is even worshiped [ his smile is a little mocking at that; he remembers Fortuna. ] though it is not that any different from that of other gods.

I see.. From the way that sounds, most demons where you come from must be bad, if they had to be sealed away from humans. But you guys are good.

Thank you for explaining. It's just.. [ She pauses for a moment before continuing. ] Demons exist where I come from too, so I was curious about the potential differences.

Do they? Care to talk about your demons? It might make it easier to compare them this way.

[ She hums, like she has to think about where to even start with it. ]
Where I'm from, demons and humans live in the same world. There's not really any seperation between a human world and a demon world.. Although the demons tend to live away from the humans in secluded areas, so a lot of humans don't even know about their existence. [ Like Chizuru herself. Until a few years ago. ] From what I've heard, demons started living that way since humans often threatened them. Humans were afraid of the demons, or worried because of them.. so they even destroyed the demons' villages back when they all still lived near each other. There aren't a lot of demons left now.

[ It was hard to really explain something that was just something he knew. Like how to breathe. It's just not something that could be explained in mere words. It was unfortunate that he could not show any of the magic of a demon; with Shadow here, he could have the cat show off the abilities born to him, but Asgard limits that. ]
You can say that they have ties more along that of the divine and the damned than they do of the secular world.

They don't seem to have a lot to do with that in my world..
[ Tha.. nkfully..? Chizuru would like to think she's not damned. What would she be even damned for? ]
They're different from humans, but not for any particular reason like that. It just.. depends on whether you're born into a human family or a demon family, I suppose.
