I spent the last 3 decades of my life traveling the galaxy. I didn't like it at first, when I was 8 years old everything and everyone was weird and scary but with time, it became home too.
And space, man. Space is gorgeous. From the infinite Nebulas down to the black holes in the furthest corner of the universe.

?Space is home to you? ?What does a black hole look like? ?How did you survive getting close?
Peter is a space nerd, news at 11
Yeah, it is. I like to travel, it's hard for me to stay in one place for long. I kind of don't belong anywhere. Too strange for Earth, too human for space. But Gamora is here, so now Asgard is...fine. A new home.
We survive in space because we travel in spaceships, big flying metal constructions like the one that I use to live here, the one that crashed in Skadi's park. As for how a black hole looks like a ring of fire surrounding the blackest of shadows. It's not safe to get too close to Black holes because the gravitational pull causes extreme time dilation. Time near a black home moves more slowly, for example, if you carried a clock, it would appear to tick more slowly than those further away. A few minutes might pass for you while for others it could be days.

Good morning. My world, well, it's what I am used to, so there's comfort in that. There's no actual magic in my world, or even electricity. I live in a monastery, but my occupation is that of a physician, I go around helping people when they're sick.

Yours is more like mine then. We've got little magic, simple things, nothing like this place. And I didn't grow up with electricity... lightbulbs if you were lucky, that was about it.
So where do you live, besides in a monastery?

[He couldn't even be sure when it was invented, but certainly didn't look so in his lifetime.] May I ask were you're from, and your name as well?

I'm good, thank you very much! I can't say I really have a "world" that I come from, just a series of galaxies that I'm always exploring. I could spent hours just listing the planets I've seen.
The hard part is thinking of just *one* thing I love our the universe. All the different kinds of people? Music? Nature?
Nah my favorite part is my best friend obviously.
What about you? What planet are you from? ^_^
no subject
I'm from Earth. A human . It's not very differetn from Asgard. Less gods and magic, especially on the living side of things. The land of the dead is more magical of course

I have to admit, I was rather fond of the music players of the 21st century when I came back to the world again. Music at hand, any time you like. Brilliant. And video games are pretty great.
And of course, I was always rather fond of witches.
no subject
And less importantly, ?what the heck is a video game? ?do you mean a game show with those trivia questions and prizes?
I think we're all witches here, sort of.

Our stories are unique, for few of us can read or write. I just so happen to be an exception. Anyway, the stories vary slightly as they are all told orally, so each storyteller puts their own spin on things. The ultimate goal is to become worthy of having a tale of yourself told while you are still alive.

The funny part is, I've heard of Vikings. I thought I'd somehow wandered into Valhalla, except I didn't know that's what it's called. Just took a wrong turn and ended up in somebody else's afterlife. !never fought a day in my life!
