[ Good morning Wanderers! It's time for another one of Ye Zun's videos. This time, he is going to pan the camera over a rather odd looking watercolor of a space ship. The camera lingers there for a short while before he flips the view around to the desk and a note: ]

Has any of you people ever seen a ship like that one before? Also what are your tips for staying warm in this frozen hellhole?

[ And with that, the feed cuts off. No he isn't going to talk to people. He's being a brat on purpose right now. ]

You mean an actual spaceship? Nope. Not with my own eyes. And, uhh, I'm probably stating the obvious here, but... coats? Warmer clothing? Lots of layers?

I can't believe people actually live in this kind of weather. [ Just wait for his shrieking about snow when it happens. ] I may have to look into that even if it is rather uncouth.

Ah, it's not that. It's more of a style. I find it rather odd, just as I find jeans odd.

[ He may be able to wear some stuff that he brother favors, but he is an old fashioned man at heart. Let's not even go into the slippery slope of hair cuts. ]

I saw. I was wondering if there were other space people out there.

They're comfortable though, I hear.

[Though he does wish he could find pants that fit, but no one can be blamed for not making any in skeleton sizes...]

Really? So you never even heard of such a craft before?

[ It's a long shot but he was kinda hoping a little to hear that his people were not an isolated group, that there might be originals out there. Oh well. ]

No, but given how we are from a different universe, that shouldn't be too surprising. Did you paint it from memory?

Put a huge dog on your lap, or several small ones. Tadaaa~! You'll no longer be cold. Plus you'll have an animal to pet. It's all advantages.

I could make you hot cocoa, that helps too.

A little, yes. From a picture that we had of the original ship off the system of the ship itself, long before it was lost.

[ And that picture is lost as well. There were few things that remained of their ship - pieces still intact despite everything time and planet could throw at it. ]

I'm not sure that would be advisable for me.

Oh, that was good, especially the ones with the sprinkles.

This is a ship, Master Ye? Surely it's a very angry cloud.

It is, Young Master Wei. It was built to sail the space between stars instead of sailing across water.

Between stars?

[Wei Wuxian twists the image again, squinting.]

I used to fly on my sword. How does something so large fly?

I know, it seems so unreal, and yet, in our history, it was what brought us to our world.

[ He never really hid who or what he was, so he was pretty sure that this would be a shock to the young cultivator. Hopefully not too much of a shock, though. ]

A lot of energy, enough to pull free of the planet's pull. Once it is in the stars it uses the energy there to continue, much like how sails can propel a ship across the seas.

Looks like some kind of mining vessel... [Frowning.] But can't say I've seen a ship that looks like that one. Sleek ones like that are in my home though, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was one similar out there.

Working in the stables with the horses works for me with keeping my fingers warm? [That or...training.]

[ Have a very eager looking person fill the screen eyes a little wide as he latches unto that bit of news. ]

If that was the case... Maybe that's why it settled underground so easily. We know it was there for a time until the crust broke and the core's flames destroyed most of it.

[ Ye Zun though pauses in his excitement to frown and then huff softly. He wasn't really talking about while working, but that's okay too. ]

I was thinking during times when not working in one form or another.

Possibly? I mean that's what it looks like to me. Could also have a city on the upper side of it if the planet wasn't totally hospitable but the atmosphere was. [Kind of like the Jetsons.]

But if it burrowed into the ground then I'd definitely stick with the mining vessel.

[A light shrug] You don't really have to be working to be with the horses, they put off a lot of body heat. But brushing them isn't a hard job anyway.

The surface had humans already living on it; we conformed ourselves to fit in with them after the ship crashed, or so said the storytellers.

[ While others decided to merge with the animals and plants they found, thus establishing the Yashou tribes. Some human scientists had thought to make themselves more Dixing through their science but they were not quite right either. Fools and idiots the lot of them. ]

Even when sleeping?

Kind of looks more like an upside down city than a ship. never seen one quite like that, but I've seen a few weird ones. You can build them a lot of ways in space, after all.

For staying warm - Burn something. Preferably not your house!

That it does, but I know it was a ship. I've seen pieces of the hull.

I think that burning things is frown upon by the neighbors. They already can't stay out of my alcohol.

Yeah, I could believe it. After all, in space you can pretty much build things in any shape. I don't remember the specifics, but the wrong shape can get you wrecked in the air but not in space.

[She understood that aerodynamics was a thing, but not what that thing was.]

Usually, yep. So, let's hope you don't needing to burn things too much. That'd be bad. What about ugly sweaters?

It has something to do with the way gravity works and doesn't work in space. You have more options for travel when you don't need to fight a planet's core.

No. I refuse.

Never seen anything like it. As for staying warm? Lots of fur and sex.

[He says both sentences in the same sort of bland tone as if the spaceship and banging someone to keep warm are as of equal importance.]

I'm not a fan of sex.

[ He might be willing to flirt and tease his way into people's hearts, but he didn't care for going past a certain limit. Trauma he supposes, not that he would care to reflect on that bit of the past. ]

I'm finding a lot of people never had seen anything close to it.

Just find someone to cuddle up with then. I'm sure there has to be at least one person here you can tolerate well enough for that.

[If Ivar, who has all the social skills of a rabid porcupine can find someone, Ye Zun certainly can.]

Ships have a very different design where I am from. But even the Benatar doesn't look like anything close to that.

I have a hard time trusting anyone that close to me.

[ He has to be in control. He has to be the one that makes the first move and have the ability to force a person. No one else is allowed to have that choice near him.

But. He has let a couple close, and he has let them touch him. But he was very sure that those simple touches were also a warning. He can't let them go far. ]

I'm going to find a fuzzy blanket or for. I'm told they are warm.

Ships from space are different than those on water.
