[ Curiosity has her coming closer, inspecting the part in question. It's damp though she can't see what from, supposedly from some sort of glowing sap. ]

What have you found out about it so far?

Nothing, ❰ he huffs, a fact that clearly frustrates him - but that's not entirely true, so he'll add: ❱ Klaus can see it. Emil can't. Thought maybe it was because we were mages, but you were a mage and you can't, either.

It may have nothing to do with mages, is there something else those who can see the glow share in common?

[ She thinks about on his questions; length of time in asgard, which god they chose, have they ventured into the forest, or have they died. There has to be something there. ]

The dark isn't an issue, I happen to be quite good at navigating through the dark. [ Thanks darkvision. ] Nor am I a stranger to navigating forests.

❰ lalli stares at her for a long, long few seconds. thinking, assessing. then a shrug and, ❱ Could take you with me. Show you where I found it. ❰ it's only practical, really, to have more than one person who knows. a contingency. ❱

That sounds like a plan. [ She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, arms crossed underneath her chest. ] When do we leave?

What? ❰ not an question he was expecting. he glances from the woman off in the general direction of the woods, considering. then - ❱ Later. Should finish this first. Wait for everyone else who said they'd come. ❰ this whole thing is a wasted effort if he doesn't see it through - even if 'seeing it through' just means having another half-dozen people say they see nothing but flower. ❱

[ Vex frowns briefly, disappointed in the answer, before shrugging her shoulders. She can wait, unless he takes to long and she decides to go on her own. Forests do not scare her, even magical forests. ]
