Hey! Hey guys! I know a lot has been going on and we're still kind of recovering and reeling from dealing with the army and all but I have news! Good news!

I figure now is probably a better time, since we're back from that fight and all now, but. Guess who showed up?! Riku is here!

[Yup, someone is all but bouncing in his excitement, beaming with his grin to the bracelet at his wrist. It's been a few days but he was still ecstatic to have his best friend here. Who he may or may not have mentioned to almost everyone here already at some point over the last few months he'd been here without the other. Cue Sora pulling out a drawing something like this but with shorter hair, a bare hint more of a smile, and different outfit.

Yes. Yes this drawing is supposed to be his best friend. Look, he is not exactly known for his art skills. He tried.]

See? This is him! So if you see him around, say hi! He'll need to make new friends now he's here with us. Also. I figured out one of my powers here! Finally! I can sort of...make like this magical armor? To help protect people! So if any of you need something like that if there's more fights, or something like that, I can help out!

[Which is kind of similar to his initial use of Aero back home in it starting more defensively than being an offensive spell at first. Sort of. Sora is just thrilled to make some progress there at least. And he can finally report that he figured at least the first of his new abilities. This might be somewhat a standard and expected one for Heimdall, but even so, he's still excited.

And then, of course, cue him taking a moment again to figure turning the thing off, for as much as he was improving in using these things.]

[ Sora truly is an artistic genius, huh. It's a good thing that there's no way Chizuru could ever make a mean comment about other people. ]

Oh, another friend of yours showed up? [ She seems surprised, but happily so. Sora and Naminé are good kids, they deserve to have friends from home with them. ] I'll make sure to greet him if I see him around. Is there any kind of food he likes?

[ She may be thinking of making some as a welcome gift to this Riku. ]

I'm very happy that your friend came, Sora. If I do see him, I'll be happy to say hello and how do you do. And that's splendid as well that you discovered your powers. It seems there's oodles of good news for you.

Yup! And uh, we're not really that picky food wise.

[Riku would probably at least try it.]

I'm just glad. I missed him a lot!

[ Also, that is a very useful power, and it makes his parent instincts settle a little ]

And that is a very useful power indeed! I do hope you will not need to use it often.

Eheh, yeah! Some of the others went home recently, so. Having Riku here now, it helps! I'm sure he'll be glad to see you too, Alice! How were you doing, with your powers?

[Some already figured theirs and there seems to be quite a variety after all. So hers might well be different from his. But he thinks it might help, to talk about them, to know how each other could help.]

[ Peter doesn't really feel very talkative after the battle against the zombies and having to kill a few of them who returned as zombies so he only answer with a short text. ]

I haven't seen your friend yet but I'm glad you have more company now. That's a very useful power to have as well, congrats.

[ Now we just have to hope Chizuru can actually recognize the real guy based on that very artistic rendering. ]

Both not too picky, huh? [ Completely regardless of whether that was a hint or not, Chizuru seems to already have decided-- ] I'll try making something yummy for both of you then. Maybe then you can come introduce him to me.

Would... you like to see? I think they're coming along rather splendidly, if I'm being honest.

[Sora can't help but to keep grinning, even as his head tilts slightly to hug against his shoulder briefly.]

Well, hopefully not too much more fighting, but. It's good to know I can do this.

[ He smiles a little wistfully ]

I don't think Asgard very much likes my world. I am the only one who has remained, of all my kin who came here first.

[ He shrugs ]

It is, but even so!

I still kinda prefer the stuff I could do back home, but. This is something at least. It's a start. And yeah, I'm really glad Riku is here too. I missed him a lot.

[While it would hardly be the first or even the last time he was separated from his best friend, that didn't mean Sora didn't miss him. Even if he was kind of more used to it, being apart, since they left the Islands that first time.]

Sounds great! I'll look forward to it! Just tell me when and where to meet you and I can bring Riku!

[....No, apparently Riku doesn't necessarily get a say in this but his friend is probably used to that by now with having been best friends with Sora ever since they could remember.]

I live in the Frigg district, so it's probably the easiest for you to come there.. But if it's far away from where you or your friend are staying, I don't mind packing some up and bringing it to you later.

[ She's pretty accomodating. And she can understand that it might be kind of overwhelming for Riku to be dragged from district to district while he's still so new. ]

Sure! Show me! I'm still figuring out mine, but it'd be neat to see what you can do with yours!

[Sora encourages her, figuring they need the practice and then he'd know what she could do if he needed her help with something later on. He grins, watching her closer as he instinctively pets at the horse.]

You....really? Even if the others left, I at least had Namine with me still. I'm sorry. I know it's rough, when your friends go back.

[Because you miss them. Even if they might not be going back to anything bad necessarily. At least, in Sora's experience.]

What about you? Your new powers?

[ He shrugs sadly ]

I ... am a little used to it, I suppose. Even in my own world... I... I am the only one of my brothers left alive. And of Finrod's family, only Galadriel.

[ He brightens a little ]

Oh, those? It turns out I can move stone and earth. Very useful for building.

We're both in Heimdall. But it'd be a good chance to show Riku around a bit anyway, so I don't mind heading over if that's easier, if you're bringing food and all.

[Either way is fine. He's just wanting to help Riku get to know everyone, and well, the food is a bonus!]

But that's....I'm not sure what I'd do. If I really lost my friends. I don't have siblings, but there's still my parents. And my closest friends are like family at this point.

[He doesn't want to think on that. On losing everyone. If anything would be able to break him, that would be it.]

Yeah? That's amazing!

[ depending on how you define 'break' it could be argued that Turgon has done exactly that! But to Sora he only smiles, old and very tired ]

Sometimes, all you can do is go on, iregardless. There is too much on my shoulders to allow me to stop.

Hmm.. You're right. If you think he can handle it, then you should bring him over here. It's a good chance to see the Frigg district. [ Especially if they're both from the same district and have less reason to travel between districts a lot because of it.. ]

Frigg's temple is really pretty, so you could show him that on your way over.

[It was back to the gibberish for her once again. The world wasn't ending, so she was all too happy to return to the teal monstrosity that was her text.]
