[Sora's either taken a bit to click that he has a new ability. Or he just hadn't said anything about it yet exactly. Which is why he speaks up now. After a longer than usual absence on his end at least, from the network with the bracelets in him piping up to say something.]

Hey guys! Ah, I think I figured a new power again? That's kinda cool? It's...um. I need to bleed to do it though. I think it sort of gives the other person like a boost to get stronger? Or something like that? I bet that'll definitely come in handy!

[He probably discovered this while training in sparring with one of his friends accidentally or something. And yes he did say that was kinda cool. At the cost of weakening himself to aid his friends, of course.....because that is just how Sora rolls. For all that his friends worry about how reckless he can be and how sacrificing he can be if he sees someone else in trouble.]

Oh! Also! I know we've been here a while so most of us have probably had a birthday or have one coming up, right? So everybody knows they gotta have a party with cake and presents and all? I guess I kinda got distracted the other month from having mine...but I'm sixteen now!

[And....totally ignoring that chances are he is not gonna be celebrating that with his friends back home. Actually. Yes. Yes he is. Which is probably at least in part why he never said anything in March, but still. Clearly that he is sixteen now is the important news, guys! Belatedly. Sora just doing his part to cheer everyone up and terrify and worry them all at once of course.]

Being to all the worlds I have, could easily happen too. Especially when I first ended up at Traverse Town. I get that. I know that.

[To be sure if this does what she thinks in being like some sort of barrier or whatever. He pauses in his approaching and progress to find her when she hollers at him, giving a wave of his own before starting up again in getting closer.]

[She was beckoning him over and grinning ear to ear. She had the look of someone just waiiiiiting to get hit so eagerly right now.]

Alright, you ready for this? I wanna see if I'm right.

[He doesn't aim too hard though, just a lighter swing in attempt to see what might or might not happen. Not wanting to accidentally possibly hurt her or anything.]

[Rhus has to shake his head. Perhaps he might never understand what exactly the boy is saying, especially when his narration is far different from anything Rhus has ever heard of, but he understands the gist of it. Perhaps.

All right then... I'm going to create an awkward position for myself but I must ask. [He places his hands on his hips and leans forward.] What do you feel or think about myself?

[Sora can say that much at least. Not that he knows the guy too well yet of course. But that could come with time. He's the kind that wants to see the best in everyone. Including strangers and newer acquaintances.]

[Crack. It smacked a little loudly against her, and ... nothing happened. he could feel the added resistance, like he'd struck a statue with the plank, and it didn't give. She laughed openly and grinned like a fiend.]

Oh my glob, Sora! I was right... I don't feel a thing! Try it harder! I think the circle's a barrier!

A barrier? Huh. That's neat. I mean, kinda messed that it uses your blood, but.

[Useful. He can admit that at least. Sora misses his own magic and abilities. The ones here were still handy. It's just not the same. Still, he hits again, slightly harder this time.]

[Is that how he sees Rhus? Or is he simply brushing over first impressions into what he actually thinks?

Rhus however, he doesn't quite share the more charitable opinions about himself. He may be more harsh over himself... And, well, there are no buts about it. He is his worst critic.]

And how does that make you feel? I mentioned before-- feelings matter. Magic might not respond the way you want it to if your feelings are not right for the sort of spell you want.

Especially when blood magicks are involved.

How do I feel? Well. I want to get to know each other better? To help keep you and everyone else safe. To help however I can at least.

[Of course he's still figuring this new ability out. Not to mention still practicing with the earlier ones he figured out. It's just different to what he is used to back home. Especially working with blood like this. So he's just rolling with it. Trusting Rhus.]

[Rhus cant help but worry at his lower lip, because that response is both exactly what he wants to hear, and not.]

No, no-- do not generalize your feelings, do not rationalize. You must concentrate on the person who needs you immediately. [As if to emphasize his point, the Miqo'te raises one hand and holds it from his face with his fingers pointing towards the sky, a single, straight line. Then he slowly moves his hand towards the boy.] If you have no focus, you have no potency, no power.

Emotions have not a whit of care for logic or creed.

Concentrate on one person, or whoever you are helping at the moment, look within yourself for what you feel for them or about them, and hold onto that moment for as long as you can.

[Here? That would probably be Riku or Namine that most immediately comes to mind. Given they're the ones he knows from home. Sora gives a nod, closing his eyes and trying to think of Riku. Helping his friend. His desire to always manage to do so. Especially after failing in his promise to Aqua back then. That desire to protect. To help. That inherent trust and friendship and closeness from being childhood friends, from overcoming Riku's insecurities with thinking Sora had replaced him with Donald and Goofy and all.]
