In a way, yeah, it's a green glowing spiritual energy that flows beneath the surface...when you die the essence of who you were combines with this stream along with all of your knowledge, memories, experiences...so on and so forth. That's what they say anyway. [the picture quality goes bad and for a moment Reno can't be seen, he's playing with something off-screen and it doesn't take him long before he's back before he returns with a smooth, green, globular stone about the size of a golf ball.] When you condense energy from the lifestream you get this, magic...granted it doesn't work here...it's just a shiny green stone.

Hmmm...magic huh? Are there any side effects that come with accepting magic from these omniscient beings I know squat about? I find there's typically a price when dealing with any creature that makes its claim to godhood.

As for V's hatred, yeah, it seemed pretty palpable to him, or rather he saw the man like the implacable surface of a lake and talking about demons was like dropping a stone and causing ripples in the calm surface.
